Leaving Cert timetable 2018
The leaving cert timetable is published by the State Examinations Commission. This year it kicks off on Wednesday 6th June (guaranteed to be a very sunny day), and as usual with the leaving cert timetable, it kicks off with English, Paper 1.
The timetable for leaving cert stretches over three weeks, ending on 22nd of June with Religious education and applied maths.
You have more time
This year there is extra time allocated to some exam papers. See the leaving cert timetable below, issued by the State Examinations Commission - subjects highlighted in red have an additional 20 minutes than was traditionally allocated to them. This gives you a little more breathing space to check your answers or revisit a question you didn't complete but still stick to your own timetable for your exam.
Don't panic!
Rather then letting this panic you, take time to see when your exams are and plan out your time over the exam period. Between now and then you have loads of time to get on top of your studies.
Be prepared
Preparing concise notes and cue cards now will give you the tools for final preparations as exam time comes around.
Look after yourself
Make sure you get plenty of rest, good food and water, especially around exam time. Dehydration and tiredness can especially decrease your cognitive function.
Get support
Your parents, school, teachers are all there to support you. Just ask. Our teachers are all very happy to help you on areas that you may need extra attention.
